Lunch orders, collected and placed
Everyone orders. One order goes out.
The Office Manager

In
The Office Manager posts Te Mrika’s menu in #lunch on Slack at 10:30, and Leart, Dion and Vjosa reply with what they want, Dion just says ‘the usual’.
Out
DoneAt 11:31: 9 lunches, €58.50, ready at 12:45, with Dion’s falafel bowl and Blerim left off because he’s out today.
What it does
It runs the daily lunch round.
- 01Posts the menu and a cut-off time
- 02Collects each order from the channel
- 03Works out ‘the usual’ from what the team said in #lunch
- 04Leaves off anyone who is out today
- 05Totals the order and the pickup time
When it asks you first
Some things wait for a person.
- The order to the restaurant waits for Genta’s yes while on probation
- It knows who is out by name only, never the reason
- It only uses what was said in the group, never someone’s private messages
What you see
The team sees one tidy order and the time lunch arrives. Every action is logged and can be undone.
